The Blackout The System movement is more than awareness—it’s action. We call on people everywhere to educate themselves and others about the true problem we face as a society: a system driven by greed that thrives on division and exploitation. Through advocacy, truth-telling, and raising awareness, we break through the noise and empower people with the understanding needed to create real change. Our work also includes direct action through coordinated Pressure Campaigns and long-term Community Building initiatives that strengthen local resilience and independence.
We believe lasting change can only come through unity. That’s why we welcome collaboration and partnership with other organizations and movements that share our values and end goals. Together, we can multiply our impact, support one another, and build a movement that cannot be ignored. Every action—big or small—contributes to a growing wave of people reclaiming power and shaping a more just, sustainable future.

Movement Advocacy
People all over the country are losing sleep, feeling angry, anxious, helpless and sometimes even hopeless. They are waiting for "that leader" to step up, offer the solutions to this crisis and drive the actions and change that's needed. Here's the truth..."that leader" is already here and it's ALL OF US, UNITED.
We know that people are more than ready to take action once they know where to turn and focus their energy. Therefore, we can't have enough Movement Advocates. Everyday people committed to doing what they can to spread the word about the Blackout The System Movement and the actions being taken.
We've outlined several ways to get involved in advocating for unity and action. Although, they may seem like small actions, they are crucial and powerful.
Pressure campaign
The Pressure Campaign is a set of coordinated initiatives and actions designed to create pushback against the current "system", helping people learn how to take our resources and power back and spreading the word about Blackout The System. Taking action within this initiative can take many forms, including taking steps outlined in coordinated boycotts.

Community Building
Our community building initiative focuses on fostering unity and collaboration across different segments of society that transcends racial, cultural, and socio-economic barriers. Through local empowerment, we strive to bring together community-based systems and networks of support. These systems serve as alternatives to and allow for less dependence on big business and more resiliency against exploitation.
